Welcome to United Music Heritage, Inc. 32th Anniversary Celebrations. As a Non-Profit-Tax exempt entity dedicated to the preservation of Musical Heritage, establishing a home for Senior Musicians  & erecting Music Heritage Center & Archives, a mentoring place for youthful aspirants of music, passing it on to the next generation. Saluting the founders who's foresight and dedication launched the Music Pioneer Awards in 1985 honoring Fred Ford (Sax Man), producer of Phineas Newborn,Jr.'s "Unaccompanied LP" and Cybil Shepherd's "Vanilla LP". Along with Whittier and Mattie A. Sengstacke (Sengstacke Publications Co-owners), Cordell Jackson (Rocking Granny"-Moon Records), Earl Randle (Entertainer-Song Writer), Jean List (Songwriter/Musician), Whittier Sengstacke, Jr. (Editor), Margaret Toler, (Educator) and Dan Greer (Song Writer-Producer). With the assistance of  Fanny Delk (Educator), Bernice Turner (Hank Williams musician), Anna Barbara Mitchell, Ophelia Ford (State Representative) and others. Having honored over 700 Music Pioneers such as Sam Phillips, Charley Pride, Burl Ives, Elvis Presley, Charlie Rich, Johnny Nash, Rufus Thomas, Estelle Axton (STAX Founder) Bobby Bland, Carla Thomas, Willie Mitchell, Arnold Dwight (Gatemouth) Moore, Nat D. Williams and (2000 Chairman), James Blackwood (Blackwood Brothers) among them. Our Archives will house Photos, Biographical data and Visual accounts of Music History, Heritage and Culture. A film, The Ole Beale Street Revue and a (5) song DVD on 2012 Honoree Jerry Lee Lewis is now in distribution. As a voluntary agency we welcome your support and input.
